CAP50

Active Pressure Sensor

The CAP50 is a measurement microphone designed specifically to measure sound levels in public address systems. It complies with Class 2 specifications in accordance with the IEC 61672-1 standard (March 2014).

It is optimised for use with AMIX AFF series sound level displays and AMIX SNA series limiters.

It is particularly suited to measuring sound levels on mobile sound systems such as those used at music festivals.

Its housing is designed to be fixed on a stage microphone stand like a traditional microphone.

The slim tubular construction ensures that the microphone has a negligible influence on the sound field, limiting any increase in sound pressure at high frequencies.

Natural sound reproduction is achieved thanks to the linear frequency response.
